The Clerk-Treasurer is elected every four years.
The Clerk-Treasurer has more duties specifically outlined by Indiana law than any other elected official. The Clerk-Treasurer is responsible for the overall collection and disbursement of funds, the administration of the accounting system, the signing of checks, the town seal, and serves as investment coordinator for the municipal treasury. The Clerk-Treasurer is also responsible for payroll and accounts payable and serves as clerk by attending meetings, preparing agendas and recording proceedings.
Mrs. Clem was appointed in 2005 and was elected to the position in 2011. 

The Town Manager is an at will employee of the Council. Jaden has been with the town since 2020.

Town Marshal an at will employee of the Council. Jeff has worked with New Pekin since 2003. The Town Marshal strives to make New Pekin a safe place for our community.
